What the day will look like

As a key member of our dynamic organisation, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of high-profile clients and navigating complex Property claims with precision and expertise. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a portfolio of high-value Property claims (with a focus, although not exclusively, on Mining / Metals / Chemical / Pulp & Paper industry clients) from initial notice to resolution whilst ensuring exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Provide proactive advice and guidance on coverage related issues for clients and [Employer hidden] network offices to present and advocate the best strategy to facilitate the settlement and conclusion of claims.
  • Ensuring outstanding levels of communication, negotiation and advocacy. Collaborating closely with clients, carriers, internal and external stakeholders to achieve an efficient and successful outcome.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced colleagues fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.
  • Technical support for pre-renewal meetings, placing and renewal negotiations.
  • Staying abreast of industry trends, regulation, and best practice to enhance [Employer hidden]'s claims handling capabilities and risk mitigation.

Skills and experience that will lead to success.

  • Minimum 5 years Property claims handling experience ideally gained from a reputable insurance, broking or adjusting organisation.
  • Functional knowledge and understanding of the claims management process, insurance markets (including London market), legal and regulatory environment and the skills to act as an advocate for our Clients.
  • Proven experience of managing sophisticated claims and delivering results in a client-facing environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with high-profile clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of Property insurance principles, policies and procedures.
  • Impeccable administration and organisational skills.
