## What the day will look like

As a Business Development Manager in our UK Construction practice you will:

  • Understand the prospect’s business and identify their needs, positioning [Employer hidden] as the logical alternative through strong sector knowledge, benchmarking (including GRIP), and professional articulation of [Employer hidden]’s risk solutions.
  • Develop tailored revenue proposals using insights from similar clients and the full range of [Employer hidden] services to ensure profitable, value‑adding propositions.
  • Collaborate with Project Management, Broking, and international [Employer hidden] offices to ensure seamless delivery against the agreed proposition.
  • Shape and contribute to client service propositions, taking a leading role where required in customisation, quality control, and presentation materials.
  • Work closely with Claims colleagues to build a strong, differentiated Claims proposition for each new client.
  • Build strong internal relationships—particularly across Client Management, Client Services, and specialist teams—to select the right experts for each prospect pitch.
  • Ensure full compliance with [Employer hidden] Business Rules, FCA regulations, and all statutory requirements.
