[Employer hidden] are currently recruiting a Broker to join our team in the UK. As a Terrorism Broker you will be primarily responsible for:

• Working with the Head of Terrorism Facultative Reinsurance and team to maximise business production from both the [Employer hidden] Re network and UK market.
• The Design and co-ordination of placement solutions for complex risks emanating from both retail and reinsurance network offices and clients.

About the Role

As a Broker some of your key responsibilities will involve:

• Building and developing client relationships, both ceding Companies and Network offices
• Supporting growth strategies, including the optimisation of [Employer hidden] Re facility platforms.
• Leading placement role, including strategy and programme design
• Management and mentoring of junior team members.

Responsible for working in accordance with the [Employer hidden] UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the [Employer hidden] UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.

About you

As a Broker your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

• Excellent understanding of London insurance market dynamics and core processes;
• Extensive knowledge of Terrorism market
• Ability to use insurance industry IT systems to efficiently deliver client service;
• Experience of managing effective client relationships;
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Excellent interpersonal skills;
• High level of numeracy;
• Effective communication and presentation skills;
• Excellent understanding and application of compliance and FCA regulation;
• Ability to work well as part of a team;
• Demonstrate integrity and professionalism
