Insurance Account Manager – Energy / Oil and Gas

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] are currently recruiting a Strategic Account Manager to join our GBC Natural Resources team, based team in London.

The role is for an individual with deep technical knowledge and the ability to drive strategic thinking and strategy for complex clients within the [Employer hidden] portfolio. This will be combined with specific objectives for client retention, new existing and new/new business development within the specialty line of business.

Core functional activity:

Provide strategic direction for key clients supporting short and long term risk management decision making and strategy, plus:

  • Lead RfP response process
  • Drive new business initiative for specific geographies
  • Lead client relationship management (direct clients and/or network office)
  • Lead client meetings and manage key insurer engagement
  • Provide technical wording advice to client/network
  • Provide technical training / guidance to colleagues
  • Coaching and mentoring

Responsible for working in accordance with the [Employer hidden] UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the [Employer hidden] UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.
