Base Maintenance

Immediate Starts to End of April 2026

Summary

This role is primarily responsible for performing aircraft maintenance, repair and modification tasks under supervision at the clients Teesside facility with a strong focus towards sheet metal work activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform assigned aircraft maintenance, repair, and modification tasks
  • Accurately record all work performed on the appropriate maintenance records such as worksheets / task cards
  • Comply with procedures detailed within the Maintenance Organisation Expositions and any associated documentation
  • Comply with all company health and safety policies, procedures and COSHH requirements
  • When not assigned to aircraft work, fully utilise available time productively to support the maintenance and cleanliness of the facility
  • Perform any additional duties or tasks as directed by the Base Maintenance Manager
  • Actively support and promote a positive safety learning culture through the reporting of occurrences and potential hazards and by adopting continuous improvement and human factors principles with their work

Requirements:

  • Aeronautical apprenticeship or recognised national qualification in aircraft maintenance
  • Minimum of 4 years aircraft maintenance experience including evidence of previous sheet metal repair work
  • Be able to demonstrate an organised approach to daily job tasks
  • Can demonstrate a high level of skill across multiple disciplines, such as mechanical, structural, and power plant tasks
  • Knowledge of maintenance standards
  • Knowledge and ability to use aircraft maintenance data

Initial Human Factors (HF) training

Fuel Tank Safety (FTS) training

Electrical Wiring Interconnect System (EWIS) training

English Language proficiency (Written & Spoken)

February starts to end of April (possible extensions)

5-5-4 Shift System (12 hour shifts / paid 11.5 hours)

7am to 7pm
