Role Responsibility

Reporting into the Head of Strategic Projects you will be responsible for:

  • Leading a team of highly skilled warehouse operatives to coordinate all aspects of the day-to-day working of the Freight Monitoring Team (which includes responsibility for stock quality and integrity)
  • The resourcing, development, and management of all colleagues within your team, ensuring that our operatives are fully trained, that we retain great people and departmental Objectives are achieved on time and in full
  • Making prompt decisions which protect customer service and our delivery schedule, as well as remaining commercially focused
  • Creation and development of new processes within Operations, protecting service level and revenue
  • Delivering said processes to Operational Management teams and fostering compliance.
  • Working with stakeholders to drive Continuous Improvements within the business.
  • Creation of key reporting and documentation data for use with Senior Leadership and Executive Teams
  • Supporting and completing scoping activities, analysing customer needs, and identifying key requirements for BAU changes and projects
  • Securing and coordinating internal resources to ensure projects are successfully executed
  • Creating and maintaining project plans and key documentation
  • Tracking milestones against scope, costs, and timescales to deliver change within budget, on time and to agreed scope
  • Managing changes to scope within the specified change control process
  • Growing and maintaining key stakeholder engagement throughout the business, and externally
  • Working in line with our project management process and tools
  • Facilitate workshops and update sessions across all levels of the business including exec
  • Ensuring all changes follow the agreed governance process
  • Ensure appropriate escalation of any issues to the Senior Leadership Team and change owner/business sponsor where applicable
