Assistant Management Accountant

Supporting the Head of Management Accounts, this role will offer great experience to join a highly qualified team with a continued focus on development. The role will be well suited for someone who has completed a finance degree or is AAT Qualified and looking to continue their qualification (e.g ACCA, CIMA, ACA).

Role Responsibility
Role Specific:
- Assist in the production of monthly management accounts to a strict deadline
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist in the budget and forecast process
- Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
- Posting journals
- Ad Hoc duties

The Ideal Candidate
Experience:
The ideal candidate will have studied a finance degree or be AAT qualified with the desire to continue their exams and study for ACCA, CIMA, ACA (Full study support provided)
Essential Skills and Attributes:
- Strong communication skills
- Strong time management skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities
- Strong Excel skills (eg. SumIf, VLookup, Pivot Tables, IndexMatch, etc)
- Strong eye for detail
- Able to act in a professional manner to the benefit of the company and always maintain confidentiality
