Job Introduction

Our support functions are the foundations of our operations who enable us to constantly grow and improve.

We are currently looking for a HR Administrator to join our incredible and dedicated People Services team in Wigan. This role would suit someone who is in the early stages of their HR career and passionate about providing excellent customer service as part of a dedicated shared service.

Role Responsibility

People are at the heart of our business and the People Services teams provide the framework, support and service to ensure our colleagues are engaged to operate at the highest level and our business managers are true people leaders.

As the HR Administrator you will work alongside the Payroll & HR Shared Services Manager to deliver a high-quality HR Administration service to the team at [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk]. You will support with the day-to-day running of our People Services function, including but not limited to administrative support, assisting with recruitment and maintaining employment and training records. The role will also provide the opportunity to learn and assist in other projects.

Key Responsibilities;

  • Supporting our colleagues with first line policy information and queries.
  • Completion of a broad range of HR, Payroll and Training administration.
  • Production of change of term letters, contracts of employment and ad hoc personnel documentation as required.
  • Maintenance of our electronic HR database, uploading of information and keeping employee files up to date and accurate.
  • Supporting the management of the people services inbox and responding to colleague queries.
  • Supporting pre employment checks.
  • Assisting the HR Advisory Team with the production of letters e.g. flexible working requests, probation letters.
  • Production of data, information and reports as required as well as data cleansing and inputting.
  • Assist in note taking at meetings.

If you are an experienced Administrator with experience of working within HR, then this could be the perfect challenge for you.

You should have:

  • Advanced MS Office (Word and Excel) knowledge
  • Good attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and ability to manage conflicting priorities
  • Pro-active and self-motivated
  • Team player
  • Able to work to deadlines
  • Good communication skills, verbal and written
  • Able to act always in a professional manner to the benefit of the company and always maintain confidentiality.

- An annual salary up to £20,000 depending on experience.
