Job Introduction

Quite often these items need installing, which we do too.

At [Employer hidden], we operate hundreds of client collections into our hubs each week, trunking goods between our Airdrie, Wigan, Worcester, and Enfield depots. We are now recruiting for a Class 1 Driver to join our hard working Transport team in Worcester, transporting products so we have everything in the right place, at the right time.

Role Responsibility

• Carrying out trunks to our other depots
• Ensure security of the load
• Adhering to EU driving regulations and RT Working time directive compliance
• Complying with [Employer hidden]’s policies and procedures
• Following all accident and defect reporting procedures
• Work in partnership with other departments in [Employer hidden]

Working hours and Shifts;

We are currently recruiting for the below shifts;

• Sunday to Thursday - start times between 12pm and 4pm
• Tuesday to Saturday - start times between 12pm and 4pm

The Ideal Candidate

With the amount of applications expected for this position, we will only be able to proceed forward with candidates who match our essential requirements stated below:

• Hold the correct driving licence to drive a Class 1 vehicle
• Fully completed your driver CPC training
• In possession of a digital tachograph card
• Experience of driving a Class 1 vehicle

Please also be aware that all our drivers are subject to a criminal record check and this is a mandatory part of our recruitment process.

Additional Information

• 40 hours per week (minimum) guaranteed
• Basic hourly rate of £16.00*****

* Your basic hourly rate of pay will be £11.80.On top of your basic rate you will receive a discretionary, non-contractual allowance of £4.20 per hour, which is paid as a supplement on top of the basic hourly rate of pay (bringing the hourly rate to £16.00).
