£36,000 - £38,000****per annum

Sous Chef

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] are looking for an experienced Sous Chef to work in a well established kitchen at our Rivervale Barn venue on the Hampshire / Berkshire border. You will need to be self-motivated, calm under pressure with a passion for cooking the finest food using fresh ingredients.

The must haves-

  • 2 years’ experience in a similar position and used to providing for 100+ covers using fresh ingredients together with a strong background in food led establishments.
  • A passion for cooking.
  • A proven track record, with good references to support your CV.
  • Kitchen management and Communication skills.
  • Own transport is essential due to the location.
  • Candidates must be eligible to work full-time in the UK

What will my responsibilities include?

  • Ensuring high standards of food preparation and service are kept. Maintaining a clean environment.
  • To follow our allergens policy and kitchen management package. (Full training given).
  • Assisting the head chef with the management of the kitchen team.
  • Daily ordering from suppliers.
  • Day to day reporting to the Head chef and General Manager. Responding to emails.
  • Management of Checkit (full training given).
