The Home

[Employer hidden] is located in a peaceful area of Gloucester, overlooking Coopers Hill and close to the scenic Witcombe Reservoirs. The home provides high-quality nursing and dementia care for up to 52 residents. Set within beautiful grounds, Brockworth House offers a warm, family-like environment where residents can feel safe, valued, and supported. Our dedicated team focuses on delivering exceptional standards of personalised care, ensuring residents and their families feel respected and truly at home.

The Role

We are looking for a compassionate and professional Registered Nurse to join our nursing team. You will take responsibility for the clinical care of residents, ensuring high standards of practice and a supportive environment for both residents and staff.What matters most is your genuine care, enthusiasm, and ability to bring positive energy to our residents' lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain the highest standards of nursing care.
  • Ensure residents’ needs are met and address any health concerns promptly.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualised care plans.
  • Administer prescribed medication and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Liaise with GPs and healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
  • Support the Home Manager with audits and quality assurance processes.
  • Provide leadership, supervision, and appraisals to care staff.
  • Ensure clear and effective handovers between shifts.
  • Report and record incidents, accidents, and safeguarding concerns appropriately.
