Caretaker Assistant job summary
Caretaker Assistant - Permanent Contract - 17.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday - 3.00pm to 6.30pm (Term time, 37 weeks per year)
[Employer hidden] are looking to appoint a part-time Assistant Caretaker to join our caring and values led community and work alongside our Site Manager.
We are looking for a practical and positive person who can help maintain our school premises to a high standard.
The ideal candidate will:
- Demonstrate relevant ‘DIY skills’ in order to carry out minor repairs.
- Demonstrate knowledge of correct moving and handling procedures and be physically able to carry out the physical aspects of the role
- Demonstrate knowledge of Health and Safety relevant to premises management.
- Demonstrate good communication skills.
- Flexible, with a positive can-do attitude and a team player.
- Good time management, with ability to prioritise tasks.

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 3.00-6.30pm - 17.5 hours per week. Term time only (37 week).
Salary:
SWAN Grade 3 - FTE is £25,133, actual is £9,969
