What skills and experience we're looking for

The successful candidate will share our vision and values of achieving excellence and our commitment to continuously improving the standards of teaching and learning in a dedicated and forward looking team of 9 teachers and 4 technicians. The Science department delivers Key Stage 3 Science over two years and Key Stage 4 over three years. Science teachers deliver lessons of all scientific disciplines to our students and frequent subject knowledge CPD sessions help us to collaborate and plan for this curriculum delivery.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a strong ethos of high achievement and success in Biology, Chemistry and Physics
  • Has the ability to plan and deliver lessons which will develop pupil’s skills, knowledge, understanding and their love for learning in the 21st century
  • Is skilled at fostering independent and collaborative student-led learning
  • Is willing to work with other skilled practitioners to develop new teaching, marking and assessment strategies using one to one devices.
