[Employer hidden], Reach South Academy Trust is looking to appoint an experienced Cleaner (20hrs per week) to join the School as soon as possible.

Salary: Grade B pt.2 FTE £24,413 pro rata. Actual Salary: £12,249

Contract Type: Permanent, part-time, term time only plus 2 weeks during Holidays

Contract Type: Perm Contract Hours: 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday

About the role

Under the direction of the line manager to fully contribute to site cleanliness ensuring all facilities are clean and available for use attaining high standards of cleaning and hygiene throughout the school environment.

About the successful candidate

We are looking for candidates that have the following qualities and experience:

  • Willingness to gain knowledge of health and safety procedures and precautions, including COSHH regulations and an awareness of health and hygiene procedures
  • Willingness to gain knowledge of cleaning procedures required to meet specified cleaning standards and use appropriate equipment
  • Experience of general cleaning work
  • Ability to work on own or as part of a team
  • Ability to relate well to children and adults
