Are you an experienced and passionate Early Years teacher ready to take the next step in your leadership journey?
We are seeking an exceptional EYFS Leader to lead our Nursery and Reception provision in our thriving two-form entry primary school. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role as a member of the Senior Leadership Team, shaping both Early Years practice and whole-school development.
You will be a highly skilled practitioner with a deep understanding of child development and early learning, committed to delivering high-quality provision where every child can flourish. You will lead and inspire a dedicated team, ensuring a nurturing, stimulating and ambitious environment for our youngest learners.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is an experienced and outstanding EYFS teacher
- Has a strong track record of improving outcomes in Early Years
- Has experience of leading or supporting provision across Nursery and Reception
- Demonstrates excellent knowledge of the EYFS Framework and early pedagogy
- Can lead, motivate and develop a team effectively
- Ideally has experience of delivering or leading Read Write Inc. (RWI) phonics
- Is committed to inclusion, creativity and high expectations for all pupils
In this role, you will:
- Lead and develop high-quality provision across Nursery and Reception
- Monitor standards, progress and attainment in EYFS
- Support and develop staff through coaching and professional development
- Work as part of the Senior Leadership Team to contribute to whole-school improvement
- Drive excellence in early reading, with a particular focus on phonics
