Salary: NJC point 12 (£28,598.00) - 17 (£31,022.00) FTE Actual Salary: £15,458.38 - £16,768.65 + well-being cash plan + pension scheme + additional Lift Schools benefits

Hours: Part-time 20 hours a week (including shift patterns): Shifts: 10.00am - 2.00pm

Contract: Fixed Term until August 2027

Your New School

[Employer hidden] is a large two-form entry primary academy with 459 pupils aged 3 to 11, including 39 children in the Nursery and 24 deaf pupils in our Deaf Learning Base (DLB).

The school is led by an ambitious and dedicated Principal, Miss Marie Duffy, who has established a strong, supportive and personable team. In 2023, the school was graded 'Outstanding' by Ofsted, with inspectors recognising that "parents are overwhelmingly positive about the quality of education their children receive."

Your New Role

The School Facilities Manager plays a vital role in the day-to-day running of the school, ensuring that the site operates safely and effectively at all times. The role operates on a shift basis with two shift patterns and includes responsibility for responding to on-call call-outs as required.

You will be responsible for maintaining a clean, orderly environment; carrying out minor repairs; managing site security; and overseeing on-site contractors, ensuring facilities are fit for purpose and ready to support learning.

What You'll Need to Succeed

You will have experience in premises, facilities, or building management, with a strong understanding of health and safety procedures and site security. You will be practical, organised, and proactive, able to carry out general repairs, safely move equipment, and follow instructions relating to equipment and materials.

A full driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential for this role, as you will be required to travel and respond to on-call call-outs when necessary.
