Midday Supervisor job summary
11.30am - 1.00pm or 11.45-1.15
7.5 hours a week, 38 weeks a year
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated people to join our amazing school to help support pupils over the lunchtime perion. Being a midday is more than just cutting up some dinners and watching pupils play. We are looking for proactive people who are proactive people who are positive role models who will actively engage and listen to our pupils while modelling play and conflict resolution.
We have support many of our great middays in become teaching assistants over the few years so if you fancy a job within a school environment this is a great first step.
We are looking for someone who:
- can lead by example and be a positive role model
- understands the importance of physical play on wellbeing
- can use initiative to solve problems
- can remain calm and apply positive behaviour strategies to de-escalate situations.
- Can actively engage with children
