We are seeking a passionate, enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Social Science to join our dynamic and successful faculty.
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and organised educator to become part of an innovative, high-achieving department. We are looking for a motivated professional with a genuine love for their subject, who can bring creativity, energy and expertise to their teaching. You will work alongside a dedicated team of experienced specialists.
The ideal candidate will be an inspiring and committed teacher who shares our ethos: “Let your light so shine – Be the best you can be.” Our ideal candidate will be able to teach Key Stage 5 Criminology, and support in Teaching either Health & Social Care or Sociology. These are among the most popular courses in our Sixth Form, attracting motivated and engaged learners. You will join a close-knit group of expert teachers who are passionate about delivering high-quality post 16 education and fostering a love of the social sciences. We welcome applicants with a specialism in one subject who are keen to develop expertise in a second or third.
This post may be considered for full-time or part-time hours. The school operates a 2-week teaching timetable.
This post is available from September 2026 and is paid on the MPS/UPS Outer London scale. Applications from ECTs are warmly welcomed; our well-structured and supportive ECT programme will help you thrive.
