About The Role

This is a key role within King’s Phoenix, supporting some of the city’s most vulnerable young people to attend, engage and succeed in education. You will play a central part in improving life chances by combining high-quality pastoral support with a strong focus on attendance.

You will build positive relationships with pupils, families and staff, using data to identify concerns and implement targeted interventions to improve attendance and wellbeing. You will also support safeguarding processes where required and work collaboratively to remove barriers to engagement.

in addition, you will lead on admissions processes, ensuring smooth transitions for pupils joining or leaving the academy. This is a rewarding, high-impact role where you will make a tangible difference to pupils’ outcomes every day.

  • Experience working with young people in a pastoral, educational or support setting
  • Confident in building positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues

  • Organised, proactive and able to manage a varied workload in a fast-paced environment
