FULL DESCRIPTION

Strategic Lead for Attendance

The Strategic Lead for Attendance will manage attendance, support students and families, and foster positive relationships. They will need a calm, understanding personality and the ability to work flexibly within a team. The role requires a professional and nurturing approach, with opportunities for career development.

  • Working pattern: Part time: 37 hours per week, term time plus 2 days
  • Contract type: Permanent
  • Actual salary: £29,287 to £32,430
  • Pay scale: Grade J SCP 23-26

  • A calm, understanding and friendly personality.
  • The ability to manage attendance and support students and their families
  • A professional, nurturing and resilient approach.
  • The willingness to work flexibly and constructively as part of a team, providing day to day support to the children and assisting with student behaviour as and if required in a supportive manner.
  • The ability to establish good relationships with students, acting as a role model and responding to individual needs.
