ABOUT THIS ROLE

JOB TITLE: Teaching Assistant Level 2

GRADE/SALARY: Grade D (SCP 6-11)

HOURS: 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time plus 5 inset days)

Hours of Work: Mon-Fri - 8:30-3:30

Leverhulme Primary School is a large 2-form entry primary school catering for children from 2-11 years of age. We strive to provide a curriculum that enriches the whole child and ensures that children are happy and feel secure at school.

We are looking to recruit skilled and motivated individuals to join our team.

Duties will include:

  • Working with all pupils - whole class, small groups and 1:1
  • Supporting and motivating pupils, both inside and outside the learning environment
  • Provide targeted learning support to children with additional needs
  • Building strong relationships with both children and adults
  • Classroom administrative support
  • Providing personal hygiene care and assistance
