We are looking for an inspiring and dynamic Head of Modern Foreign Languages to lead our ambitious and supportive team. They will be responsible for shaping the vision of the department, driving excellence in teaching and learning, and fostering a love of languages across all key stages. The successful candidate will be required to teach Spanish as part of the Modern Foreign Languages curriculum.

From September 2027, the College will also broaden its post-16 provision to offer A Levels alongside the IB Diploma, ensuring that all students can access the pathway best suited to their strengths, aspirations and future plans.

Our Modern Languages department is central to our international ethos, where all students study two languages at GCSE and Diploma students continue at least one in the Sixth Form. We offer French, Spanish, German, Italian, Mandarin, and Japanese, providing a rich linguistic and cultural experience.

The successful candidate will be required to teach Spanish as part of the Modern Foreign Languages curriculum.

The successful candidate will also be required to lead on the College’s trips and exchanges programme and to promote internationalism throughout the school.
