[Employer hidden] Heckmondwike, wishes to appoint one enthusiastic individual with the skills and knowledge necessary to fulfil the role of a Lunchtime Supervisor Assistant starting as soon as possible.

Post Title: Lunch Time Supervisor , Post Grade: 3, Hours: Monday-Friday, 11:45am-01:10pm, (7.50 hours per week) term time only to start ASAP.
Responsible to: Line Manager
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To supervise children and ensure their safety during the mid-day play period, both inside and outside.
- To be familiar with the school policy on Health and Safety and to ensure that it is observed at all times, e.g. Ensure that any spillage is wiped up immediately.
- To be aware of any pupil dietary requirements, and follow any health care plan in relation to these.
- To ensure the children are encouraged to try food, use cutlery and observe table manners in the dining hall.
- To ensure that packed lunch boxes are taken with the children and put back in the correct place.
- To circulate in the playground, ensuring children follow the school rules.
- To put out lunchtime play equipment and to organise games with the children.
- To supervise children at the end of the mid-day period and ensure they go to class in a quiet and orderly manner.
- To report all accidents and incidents to your line manager and to fill in the appropriate accident record forms.
- To attend a first aid training course and any other relevant training if required.
- To be familiar with the school policy and keeping children safe in education.
