Following the successful internal promotions of teaching assistants, we are looking to expand our Flexible Teaching Assistant team. We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated people, who are able to engage with our students. You will be working alongside at least two other teaching assistants so you must be able to work in a team. It is essential that the successful candidate is able to communicate clearly in a calm and respectful manner, be reliable and trustworthy and work within the school’s policies, including safeguarding and child protection. Experience is not necessary but a passion to support children and young people with special educational needs is essential. [Employer hidden] is a specialist provision for children and young people with Autism and/or Social Communication Difficulties, all the students have Education, Health and Care Plans as their needs are long term.
Full-time: Posts are for 23.75 hours a week and Term Time Only. The hours for this position are: 9:15am - 2:00pm Monday-Friday.
Please Note: A willingness to take part in swimming is essential as the students take part in swimming as part of the curriculum. You must be over 18 years of age.
Flexi Teaching Assistant positions will be based across all of our 3 sites depending on the day-to-day needs of the school. You must be willing to move between campuses as and when required
We welcome visits to the school.
Job Types: Part Time, Permanent Open until post filled.
All candidates must be suitable to work with vulnerable children and adults. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974
