What skills and experience we're looking for
The governors and academy trust of St Gregory the Great are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, creative and enthusiastic classroom teacher to join [Employer hidden].
We are looking for a teacher who would like to join us to help further develop a strong and vibrant school community that reflects its faith tradition and promotes the moral, spiritual and emotional development of pupils alongside their intellectual, social, physical and cultural development.
We are seeking a teacher who:
- Is sympathetic to the Catholic ethos of the school.
- Is passionate about teaching and demonstrates excellent practice within the classroom.
- Sets high expectations of themselves and learners
- Works collaboratively within a team
- Has a secure understanding of how children learn and sets high expectations ensuring that all pupil groups are challenged in their learning
- Continually strives to evaluate and develop their own practice and that of others.
- Is highly motivated and proactive in seeking ways to continually develop and enhance the curriculum provision for our pupils at Immaculate Heart of Mary
- Is a positive role model who can inspire and motivate.
- Will take the lead in a curriculum subject within school.
