Assistant Principal - Inclusion job summary
St Michael's Church of England Primary Academy is looking to appoint an Assistant Principal for Inclusion to work in our forward-thinking SEND Unit, the Ark. At the core of the Ark are the values of compassion and kindness, hope, love, connection and belonging. The Ark aims to support primary age children from across Wolverhampton whose SEMH needs mean they need additional therapeutic and mental health intervention. The Ark will support children whose SEMH needs present primarily through behaviours which make them vulnerable: attachment needs, anxiety, low mood and low self-esteem. Children will typically have had early childhood trauma or adverse childhood experiences.
This vacancy has a closing date of Friday 1st May, with interviews on the afternoon of Thursday 7th May. We are also eager to see candidates teach in their own setting.
