[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] are seeking to appoint a learning supervisor to supervise whole classes during the short term absence of teachers.
Job details
- Job role: Learning support or cover supervisor
- Visa sponsorship: Visas cannot be sponsored
- Working pattern: Full time: 36 hours per week / 46 weeks per year (includes 5 inset days and a workback element) (Monday 8.00am-4.30pm and Tuesday to Friday 8.00-3.30pm)
- Contract type: Permanent
- Full-time equivalent salary: £28,598 - £31,022 pro rata (actual salary £25,298 - £27,442 per annum)
- Pay scale: SCP 12-17, Pay Grade F
What skills and experience we're looking for
- A commitment to safeguarding and equality
- Previous experience of working with children is desirable but not essential
- Be passionate about supporting education
- Bring energy and enthusiasm to the role
- Be flexible and adaptable in a busy educational environment
- Have the ability to work well in a team and independently
- Have a working knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures
- Have the ability to relate to children and young people
- Be able to inspire, influence, challenge and motivate, leading by example
- Have a level 2 qualification in English and maths
