Teaching Assistant job summary
Required for a September 2026 start, we are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join our hard-working and supportive team on a permanent basis. This position would suit an individual who is supportive and is able to challenge students to achieve their full potential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a positive ‘can do’ attitude and possess good communication and interpersonal skills. The working pattern for this role is Monday to Thursday 8:00am - 4:00pm and Friday 8:00am - 3:30pm.

The Academy is continuing to expand and due to its popularity and increasing student numbers, a new £6 million wing was opened in September 2018. - Has a good standard of education to GCSE Level in English & Maths.
- Possesses good ICT skills.
- Is reliable, conscientious and committed to supporting students in all aspects of learning.

- Is calm, but with a good sense of humour.
