What does a Premises Cleaner do?

You are the guardian of our learning environment. By providing an effective on-site cleaning service, you ensure our classrooms and communal spaces are safe, hygienic, and ready to inspire our pupils every single day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain High Standards: Use professional domestic and industrial equipment to clean floors, windows, and work surfaces to a specified quality.
  • Ensure Safety & Hygiene: Replenish essential supplies and strictly follow Health and Safety requirements to protect our school community.
  • Care for our Site: Perform routine equipment checks, manage waste removal, and report any maintenance issues or vandalism promptly.
  • Support our Pupils: Monitor student conduct and intervene when necessary to ensure the safety and well-being of all visitors and staff.

  • Experienced: You have a background in cleaning, ideally within a school, and understand COSHH and Health & Safety practices.
