Head of Drama (Deadline Extended) job summary

Job Purpose:

Actively supporting the vision and values of [Employer hidden], the post holder will work to provide professional leadership and management for the performing arts department, ensuring the faculty delivers high quality teaching, effectively using the resources available and aiming to raise standards of learning and achievement for all students.

To implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students and to support a designated curriculum area as appropriate

To monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as Head of Department.

To facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with opportunities to achieve their individual potential.

To contribute to raising standards of student attainment.

To share and support the school’s responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth.
