What skills and experience we're looking for
We have developed an Enhanced SEND Provision over recent years and this will, in September, become a SEND Unit. We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic and energetic teacher to work closely with our SENDCo to lead this provision. Applicants will have a proven track record of successful teaching and learning in a primary setting and this post is not suitable for ECTs. In addition, the successful candidate will: Have drive, passion, determination and boundless energy; Have high expectations of themselves, all children and the school community as a whole; Be committed to supporting children with additional needs; Have a secure understanding of curriculum and how to engage children in learning to secure good progress; Be a teacher who never gives up on children; Actively contribute to the development of community relationships; Work effectively with parents and families; Be open to new ways of working.
