What skills and experience we're looking for
[Employer hidden] are seeking an inspirational senior leader with a specialism in maths to join an extensive Curriculum and Teaching Central team. The Trust has three secondary schools; the teaching component of the role will be based at Walker Riverside Academy but the leadership aspect involves working across all three secondary schools bringing about greater alignment in pedagogy, curriculum, assessment and monitoring. You will be a well qualified, outstanding practitioner with a proven track record of leading whole school initiatives and outstanding examination results. The Trust, in return, will support your integration into an exceptionally talented central team and school team both of which are determined to bring about rapid gains in outcomes for our students.
The Trust Central team has three Curriculum and Teaching partners for English, two for maths, two for Curriculum and Assessment and a senior partner co-ordinates the work of the central team. There are other workflows around numeracy, literacy and foundational knowledge across the curriculum.

What the school offers its staff
You will work with the Headteacher in your host school and with the senior partner within the wider Trust team to accelerate improvement, raise standards and build capacity. The role will involve working with our close partners The Gorse Academies Trust, offering ample opportunities for ongoing CPD. You will also receive consistent support from a dedicated Headteacher, SLT, CEO, Trust Central Team, Local Governing Body and Trust Board.
