What skills and experience we're looking for
Do you have a spare room or two at home? We are looking for caring, warm and supportive families to provide a home-from-home for our 6thform students whilst they study at Exeter Maths School.
We’re looking for hosts that are…
- Welcoming and Supportive
- Able to encourage growing independence
- Able to provide private space for a student or two
- Kind, thoughtful and responsible
What you’ll be doing…
- Creating a home-from-home for boarding students
- Guiding the student(s) to be able to cook, clean and take care of themselves
- Being available in the evening and for overnight emergencies
- Providing evening meals, breakfast and facilities for making snacks and lunch
- Being a listening ear and provider of support and guidance
- Communicating parents and school staff when necessary

Further information about the job
The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
