Outstanding Literacy Practitioner

  • Excellent classroom teacher with a strong track record in reading and writing
  • Deep knowledge of high-quality primary literacy pedagogy
  • Passionate, driven and inspirational, with high expectations for all pupils

Reading & Phonics Leadership

  • Expert knowledge of early reading, fluency, comprehension and vocabulary
  • Extensive, up-to-date understanding of systematic synthetic phonics
  • Confident analysing data, leading intervention and coaching staff to ensure consistency and impact
  • Committed to building a whole-school culture of reading for pleasure

Writing Excellence

  • Strong expertise in writing pedagogy, including grammar, sentence structure and composition
  • Skilled in modelling high-quality writing and supporting teachers to plan, teach and assess effectively

Leadership & Professional Development

  • Inspiring leader who motivates and supports colleagues through coaching and CPD
  • Experienced in monitoring standards and driving curriculum improvement
  • Reflective, organised and focused on impact and continuous improvement
