SEND Administrator job summary
[Employer hidden] is a growing 7-19 age range SEND school working with pupils who have Cognition and Learning Delay and additional complex needs taught in classes of approximately 12 students.
We are currently looking a SEND Administrator - closely with the SENDCo and wider SEND team. Working hours will be 37 hours a week, term time only.
The role will entail:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the SENDCo and SEND team, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations across the school week.
- Manage confidential student files in line with data protection regulations and safeguarding procedures.
- Oversee administrative processes for termly SEND reports, ensuring documentation is accurate and aligned with statutory responsibilities.
- Handle phone calls and emails professionally and sensitively, acting as a key point of contact for SEND-related enquiries.
- Maintain accurate SEND records and support referrals to external agencies.
We are looking for an individual who has
- Experience in an administrative role, ideally within an educational or public-sector setting.
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- High-quality written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Competent in using IT systems, including Microsoft Office and database management tools.

The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
