Art and Technology Technician job summary
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Art and Technology Technician to join our welcoming and dynamic Computing, Art, and Design & Technology Faculty. This is a key support role within a vibrant faculty, helping to create a safe, well-resourced, and inspiring environment for practical learning.
About the Role: This is a varied and hands-on position, supporting teachers and students in the preparation and delivery of practical lessons across our workshops and classrooms. You will be responsible for setting up materials, maintaining equipment, and ensuring that all practical activities comply with health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and organise materials and equipment for lessons
- Assist with the maintenance and safe storage of resources
- Support staff and students during practical sessions as required
- Uphold and follow health and safety procedures at all times
What We’re Looking For: While previous experience is not essential, we are looking for someone who:
- Has strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Is approachable, adaptable, and works well as part of a team
- Has a positive, helpful attitude and a willingness to learn
