The Role

Do you want to be part of a collaborative and high performing school? Are you passionate about inspiring and supporting students to achieve their full potential in Philosophy, Religion and Ethics? If so, we want to hear from you.

Main Responsibilities

Depending on your expertise and experience, you will teach a range of KS3 and possibly KS4 classes alongside colleagues of the highest calibre in the delivery of Philosophy, Religion and Ethics. There is potential to teach KS5 in the future. We are seeking a colleague willing to inspire and motivate our younger KS3 students in this subject area, hoping to continue the growth of the subject at both KS4 and KS5. A small element of PSHE teaching sits with this post.

The Ideal Candidate

Required from September 2026 a highly motivated member of staff with specialist subject knowledge and interest in teaching Philosophy, Religion and Ethics. You will have, or be developing, outstanding teaching practice in addition to having a commitment to collaboration and teamwork. You will be highly organised, have excellent communication skills and be innovative and enthusiastic.
