Purchase Assistant Manager – FMCG

The Purchase Assistant Manager will be responsible for inventory management, vendor development, negotiation, market analysis, and adding to the product portfolio. The role requires strong negotiation and communication skills, with a focus on making decisions and analyzing market trends.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management – tracking and updating the existing stock held within the warehouses.
  • Vendor Development & Management – bringing new vendors on board, and managing the current ones on the portfolio with regular communication.
  • Strong Negotiation & Communication Skills – negotiating daily with the suppliers, vendors, with the best possible target price.
  • Analyzing market trends and identify new products that might be advantageous to the business and keep adding on the Product Portfolio as per the season and the geographical location.
  • Should be able to make decisions on an urgent basis calculating multiple aspects and making decisions without bias,
