Plumber/Gas Engineer
We are looking for an experienced Plumber / Gas Engineer to join our small utilities and maintenance team, supporting [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk], the Big Blue and Boulevard Hotel. The role involves maintaining and repairing a variety of building services including commercial and domestic plumbing systems, gas appliances, heating plant, and general mechanical services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and repair of commercial and domestic plumbing systems
- Servicing and fault finding on gas appliances and heating systems
- Supporting maintenance of boilers, pipework, pumps, and plant equipment
- Responding to planned maintenance tasks and reactive repairs
- Assisting with small installation projects and system upgrades
- Estimate time, materials, and costs required for each project.
- Mentor & support junior team and/or apprentices
- Maintaining accurate service records and reporting faults
- Working as part of a small team maintaining essential site utilities
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Working Pattern:
- Standard weekday working pattern 7am – 15:30
- Participation in a 1 in 3 weekend cover rota
- Weekend cover is returned with days off during the week
