Job Title: Stage Manager

Overview:
[Employer hidden] are looking for an experienced Stage Manager to join the team for our 2025 production Hot Ice XS at the Pleasure Beach Arena.
Dates: 16th June 2025 – 30th September 2025 *(6 Days per week, Monday to Saturday)*
Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate all stage and backstage operations during rehearsals and performances.
- Collaborate with production crew, and creative teams to ensure seamless execution of the show.
- Conduct pre-show and post-show checks to ensure the stage, props, and equipment are performance-ready.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during rehearsals or performances.
- To ensure show pre-sets are completed for each performance.
- To ensure Props, Scenery, Lighting and Sound equipment are maintained.
- To operate Performer Flying, Pyrotechnic and Fire Effect systems.
- To provide show calls to Cast and Crew.
- To complete a show report after each performance.
- To carry out daily and weekly performer flying checks.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Stage Manager or in a similar role within live entertainment, preferably in ice shows.
- Familiarity with technical aspects of lighting, sound, and special effect.
- Awareness of Risk Assessments and the importance of Health and Safety in the work place.
- Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.
Skills
- Exceptional timekeeping and time management abilities.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- The ability to multi-task as well as carry out specific tasks with due diligence.
- Proven ability to solve problems and make decisions under pressure.
- Familiar with using power and hand tools to fix props and scenery.
