FULL DESCRIPTION

Retail Team Leader

Reports to: Operations Retail Manager

We are seeking an experienced, proactive and enthusiastic Retail Team Leader to join our sales and operations team. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable about our product and be able to effectively manage and lead a team in order to ensure successful sales and operations

Duties/ Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with our guests
  • Monitor retail sales performance and take corrective action as needed
  • Collaborating with colleagues to delivering an excellent customer service; mediating, problem solving and managing customer enquiries
  • Encouraging the team to develop product knowledge, sales goals and customer service skills
  • Observing health and safety regulations and ensuring team members adhere to them
  • Leading the daily operations of our retail stores, including stock control and ordering of new stock, and visual merchandising to ensure the store is duly equipped to attract customers attention
  • Develop and mentor a team of retail professionals to ensure success
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure optimal performance
  • Monitor inventory and drive stock turnover having a hands on approach
  • Ensure compliance with all retail policies and procedures

Qualification:

  • Proven track record of successful retail management
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service and sales skills
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Ability to think strategically and solve complex problems
  • Proficient computer skills
  • 2+ years of experience in a retail supervisory/ management environment
  • Ability to drive results with a strong sense of urgency
  • Flexible work hours and availability to work weekends and evenings where necessary
  • Comfortable with a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • Proven ability to remain calm and composed in high pressure situations
