FULL DESCRIPTION
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Workshop Controller to join the busy service team at our [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] Ltd branch in Carlisle. The successful applicant must have the ability to work as part of a small team in a busy, pressurised environment. Customer focus, relationship maintenance and communication skills are of high importance in this role.
As a Workshop Controller your duties will include:
- Dealing with all customers, both in-person and over the phone, in a professional, prompt and courteous manner, portraying a positive first impression of the Service Department.
- Relaying information, sometimes technical, to the Service Manager and Engineers.
- Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction at all times.
- Selling customer repairs/parts etc.
- Monitoring and motivating the Service team and pro-actively review daily workload to maximise performance.
- Assisting with paperwork related to the Service department
The ideal Workshop Controller will hold the following skills and experiences:
- Prior experience in a Workshop or Service environment.
- Motivated, with a proactive approach to customer service.
- Enjoy the challenge of influencing the success of the Service department.
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
- IT literate.
