FULL DESCRIPTION

Sales Director

Lead, mentor and develop the UK sales team, including coaching, performance management and pipeline oversight. Establish KPIs and ensure focus remains on high-value business development activity. Maintain personal billing responsibility and generate new business. Develop and implement the UK sales strategy and annual sales plan. Influence team culture, accountability and performance standards. Prepare tailored commercial proposals and negotiate contractual agreements. Oversee delivery of assigned projects and maintain partner relationships. Support marketing initiatives and strengthen referral and indirect channels. Maintain accurate CRM reporting and weekly client and partner updates. Contribute to the broader strategic direction of the UK business alongside senior management.

Responsibilities

What you bring

  • Essential!- 5+ years commercial leadership experience within anR&D Tax consultancyor professional services environment.
  • At least 3 years managing and developing sales teams
  • Understanding of the UK innovation and SME landscape
  • Ability to communicate complex or technical services in a clear commercial manner
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
  • A proactive, autonomous approach and accountability for performance targets
  • Commercial judgement and comfort operating in a target-driven environment
