R&D Tax - Business Development Manager

We’re partnering with a well regarded R&D tax specialist known for its technical strength, quality of delivery and supportive culture. The firm has a loyal client base and a strong reputation in the market.

They are now looking for a Business Development Manager to help drive the next phase of growth.

The Role

This is a relationship-led business development position rather than a high volume sales environment. You will be responsible for identifying and winning new R&D tax work through your network, referrals and targeted outreach, supported by marketing activity and an experienced technical team.

You will have the credibility of a respected brand behind you and the freedom to build your own profile in the market. The role encourages networking, developing partnerships with accountants and advisers, and creating long term client relationships rather than quick wins.

What you’ll bring

- Experience in R&D tax or a related incentives area such as Capital Allowances or Patent Box
- A track record of generating new business through relationships, partnerships and personal network
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage senior stakeholders
- A self motivated and proactive approach, with the ambition to build a long term career in a growing firm
