Content Supply Executive, Global Studios
Global Studios is an exciting new focus for Global – where all podcasts exist under the Global Studios umbrella brand. Whether they are Global Originals (produced in in house at Global), 3rd party shows that Global host and monetises, or our recent acquisitions, The Fellas Studios and Gary Neville’s Overlap offering.
Key Responsibilities
- Gathering Market Insight (25%): Remain up to date on latest podcast launches, key talent moves, what competitors and partners are up to, and what’s going on in the market generally. You will have access to various tools to gather this insight, plus you will be expected to use social channels and online media. You will be expected to produce a weekly report to share internally and with partners.
- Creating Reports (25%): You will have access to various dashboards and will produce regular reports to support internal team and account management on audience data, listenership and video views, audience trends, revenue performance, and any other ad-hoc requests.
- Account Management (25%): Attending meeting with partners, dealing with enquiries, and generally supporting requests that come into partners. Keep contract records, renewal dates, and trackers up to date.
- Supporting New Business Pitches (25%): You will work with the new business team to support the pitch process by creating presentations and co-ordinating information for the presentation and ensuring this information is visualised in a creative and easy to understand way.
You will learn
- How to manage day-to-day relationships with podcast partners, with guidance from senior team members
- Support partner communication and how to route queries to the right internal teams
- Build on your existing skills in Excel, data analysis and visualisation by helping with partner updates and reports (full training provided)
- Gain exposure to the commercial side of podcasting by supporting pitches and partnership opportunities
- Develop research and presentation skills by helping with new podcast acquisition projects
- Assist with administrative tasks such as revenue statements and invoice processing to understand the full picture
- Learn how to identify and evaluate new content opportunities
- Build your knowledge of the podcast and digital audio industry, with mentorship from the team

What You’ll Need
- A genuine interest in podcasts, media, and advertising
- Have studied a course/degree that has prepared you to embark this type of role.
- Good organisational skills and an eye for detail
- Experience in Excel and PowerPoint (e.g. through studies or coursework)
- Some experience working with data and drawing insight from it (through studies or coursework)
- Some research and presentation skills
- Clear communication skills (written and verbal)
- A positive, can-do attitude and eagerness to learn
- The ability to juggle different tasks and stay on top of your workload
- Confidence (or willingness to build confidence) working with different people and teams
- A collaborative mindset and desire to be part of a supportive team environment
