Job Description

Your Role: Designer – Global Studios

Global Studios is an exciting and fast-evolving part of our business, and we’re looking for a hands-on, versatile Designer who thrives on variety and loves switching between creative challenges. This is a rare opportunity to work across the breadth of our studio output, from high-stakes pitch decks and client presentations to event branding and marketing collateral. You’ll be part of the Global Studios world day to day, while also benefiting from the established processes, workflow foundations, tooling and creative leadership of the Commercial Design team.

A little bit more about Global Studios. Global Studios is the umbrella brand, where all our podcasts exist. Whether they are Global Originals (produced in in house at Global), 3rd party shows that Global host and monetises, or our recent acquisitions, The Fellas Studios and Gary Neville’s Overlap offering.

Global Studios is already home to some of the UK’s leading shows such as The News Agents, The Sports Agents, My Therapist Ghosted Me, Stick To Football, The Fellas, Saving Grace, and many more. At Global Studios, we have huge ambitions to grow this brand, increasing our content and the revenue we generate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pitch & Presentation Design (40%): Lead the creation of compelling and narrative rich pitch decks, credentials and client presentations that showcase Global Studios' capabilities and shows. You'll translate complex ideas into visually engaging narratives that win business and communicate our creative vision with clarity and impact.
  • Marketing Collateral & Brand Assets (40%): Design marketing materials that support Global Studios campaigns across multiple touchpoints, digital and print. You'll help bring our Global Studio and show brands to life with assets that are on-brand, engaging, and optimised for performance.
  • Event Assets/Support & Activations (20%): Collaborate and lead on event branding, signage, and visual identity for Global Studios activations and partner/industry events. Your designs will help create memorable experiences that reflect the energy and ambition of our brand and shows.

What You’ll Love About This Role

  • Think Big: Work on exciting projects across Global Studios' growing slate of content, from podcasts and video series to major client pitches and partner/ industry events.
  • Own It: You'll take creative ownership of design projects from brief to delivery, with the autonomy to bring ideas to life and make a real impact.
  • Keep it Simple: You'll cut through complexity to deliver clear, beautiful design that resonates with target audiences and works hard across multiple formats and platforms.
  • Better Together: You’ll enjoy the best of both worlds, feeling like a true part of Global Studios while benefiting from the structure, support and ways of working of the Commercial Design team.

What Success Looks Like

In your first few months, you’ll have:

  • Supported in delivering an identity for Global Studios. As well as a vision for further maintenance if it
  • Delivered compelling creds, pitch decks that have helped secure new business or partnerships
  • Designed marketing collateral and event materials that have elevated Global Studios' brand presence
  • Built strong working relationships with the Global Studios and Commercial Design teams
  • Supported in embedding key workflow processes on how you receive your briefs, ensuring you have time to focus on the bits that matter, the brief
  • Developed a clear understanding of how your design work supports Global's Studios strategy across all platforms

What You’ll Need

  • Creative versatility: You're comfortable designing across formats, decks, digital assets, print, social, and event materials, and love the variety that comes with context-switching.
  • Super strong presentation design skills: Experience creating high-quality pitch decks and client-facing presentations that tell a story and look polished. You truly understand the importance of narrative.
  • Attention to detail and speed: You work quickly without sacrificing quality, and you understand how to prioritise when managing multiple projects at once.
  • Collaborative mindset: You build strong relationships across teams and love working in partnership with different stakeholders. You’ll be comfortable operating as part of the fast-moving Global Studios team, while also plugging into the processes, workflow foundations and creative support of the Commercial Design team.
  • Design tools expertise: Strong working knowledge of Powerpoint (most of our clients need our decks in this format), Adobe Creative Suite and Figma, with the ability to create polished, presentation-ready work across digital, print and event collateral.

How we hire

Got your eye on a role?

  • ### Submit application
  • If one of our roles has caught your eye, the first step is to submit your application. You’ll be asked for a CV, and sometimes a cover letter too. We love nothing more than seeing what you’re passionate about, so portfolios, videos and demos are always a great addition at this stage.
  • ### The process
  • If we think you’re a great fit, one of our team will get in touch for a chat. This will usually be an informal call, where we get to know each other a little better. After this, you’ll go into a first stage interview with the hiring team.
  • ### Interview and meet the team
  • This is where you’ll meet your potential manager, and some of your teammates. Sometimes these interviews include a task to complete ahead of time, which you’ll run through in the session. Aside from the task, it’s a good idea to look through our values and see how they align with your own. We also love questions — so don’t forget to use this as an opportunity to interview us too.
  • ### What's next?
  • After all interviews are completed, we’ll get back to you as quickly as possible. This is usually within a few weeks of applying, and slightly longer for busier roles. If our stars align, our recruitment team will be in touch with the good news! They’ll talk you through the next steps, like signing your contract and the onboarding process. If you’re not successful this time round, it's likely that you’d be great for another position so we would love to keep in touch!
