The Opportunity

Reporting to the Business Area Director for NW Europe, this new role will be responsible for all of the UK’s commercial strategy and activity. Limagrain are unique in that they have the capacity and capability to supply seed both direct to famers and to distributors with their full range of varieties. The business has recognised that there is a distinct opportunity to drive better conversations by working closely together and ensuring each team’s strengths are deployed to best effect. The business has built its success on long term relationships, and this remains at the heart of everything it does.

The Candidate

To be suitable for this role, candidates will need to have a deep knowledge of Arable Agriculture, preferably having had experience within a seed focussed environment and a commercial understanding of dealing direct to farm and/or with distributors. This is a very people focussed position and the successful candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to engage people at all levels, both internally and externally, whilst communicating the businesses strategy in an effective and inspiring way. Limagrain’s main office is located near Rothwell, Lincolnshire and the role will largely be based there, so being within a reasonable commute is beneficial.
