The Opportunity

Reporting to the Business Area Director for NW Europe, this role is responsible for all of Limagrain’s marketing activity across all channels. The marketing team has proven to be very effective for the business, with specialisms deployed in the right places, ensuring their current and future customers are well informed about upcoming developments. However, there is a significant opportunity to capitalise on more digital marketing opportunities, in order to appeal to a wider and more discerning audience. The team is split into 2 distinct areas with specialist Product Managers, responsible for key areas of their product portfolio, and the marketing communications team. Both teams have different requirements but work best when there is a clear and collaborative team goal. Ultimately, this is the main function of the position.

The Candidate

To be suitable for this role, candidates will need to have proven senior marketing experience, having worked across all marketing channels. Whilst up to date experience of working within an agricultural environment would be an advantage, it is more important to have an understanding of agriculture as a whole, having come from a farming family for example. Extensive team management experience is important, as you will be managing a team who are split between remote and office locations. Limagrain’s main office is located near Rothwell, Lincolnshire and the role will largely be based there. This is a chance to join a business whose growth plans are showing no signs of stopping.
