Driver / Material Handler

Location: Norwich (on-site)

Hours: Monday–Thursday 08:00–16:00, Friday 08:00–15:30

Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour

About the Role

Select Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a global manufacturing client for a Driver / Material Handler to support operations within a manufacturing and assembly environment.

This role involves daily travel between sites, handling materials, and supporting warehouse operations. You will play a key part in ensuring smooth logistics between the main site and an off-site warehouse, while also assisting with stock control and light assembly tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out daily collection and delivery of materials between sites
• Support warehouse operations, including goods handling and storage
• Assist with inventory control and stock accuracy
• Complete basic assembly tasks (e.g. toolboxes)
• Ensure all materials are handled safely and efficiently
• Maintain accurate records and follow internal processes

Key Requirements

Essential:

• Full UK driving licence
• Previous warehouse or materials handling experience
• Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks
• Basic IT skills for stock control and system updates
• Ability to provide a 5-year unbroken work history (required for compliance)

Desirable:

• Experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment
• Good organisational and time management skills
