FULL DESCRIPTION
The Engagement & Resident Wellbeing promotor supports the Head of Engagement & Resident Wellbeing to deliver [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk]’s approach to meaningful, person‑centred engagement across all homes.The role connects the overall vision with everyday practice, helping to make sure engagement and wellbeing activities are delivered well, reviewed regularly, and continually strengthened at home level.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and mentor home-based Engagement Leads and Activity Organisers to deliver vibrant, evidence-informed wellbeing engagement programmes
- Coordinate shadow shifts and onboarding support for new team members, nurturing values-led practice
- Lead and evaluate community dementia projects aligned with [Employer hidden]’s Enhanced Rose Model vision
Home Leadership & Support
- Oversee and maintain wellbeing-related administrative duties, including rota support, leave cover, and sickness coordination across the engagement team
- Schedule and conduct internal audits around wellbeing activities, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement
- Champion and facilitate PCS (Person-Centred Software) training and ongoing digital support for engagement staff
The Hideaway
- Take the management of the hideaway initiative and cover
- Mange and coordinate the loan equipment games, magic table to the homes
- Have oversight and manage the Red Car at the Hideaway
- Link with the home mangers and engagement leads to coordinate meaningful events and visits to the hideaway
- To support with the oversight of team members at the Hideaway
Community & Event Engagement
- Liaise with external partners to initiate and sustain community-based engagement initiatives
- Coordinate events, focus groups,Mini Bus programme and to complete minibus awareness training
Qualifications & Experience:
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent desirable
- Demonstrable experience in resident wellbeing, activity coordination, or community engagement within a care setting
- Strong knowledge of dementia and care
- Proficient in digital systems such as PCS, Microsoft, excel and PowerPoint
- Car driver
